We are honored to partner with SEACUS for another year, presenting them with a check for $78,000 to support their efforts to provide Meals on Wheels, Housekeeping, Personal Care for seniors 65 and older in Graham County; and Home Modifications for seniors in Graham and Greenlee Counties. These services aid in the quality of life for our aging community members, supports families faced with the challenges of providing care for aging loved ones, and ultimately support our community by helping working caregivers stay productive in the workplace.
This allows them to provide 1,250 hours of Housekeeping for seniors who are no longer eligible under SEAGO’s new guidelines. Purchase Adaptive Aids and provide Home Modifications creating safe and accessible homes for seniors in Graham and Greenlee Counties. Supplement our Personal Care budget enabling us to continue providing 1,345 units of personal care with an additional 548 units to meet the needs of seniors currently on our waitlist. And serve 2,913 Meals on Wheels.
