We were so excited to present this check for $22,310 to Morenci Unified School District
$16,310 of that is to start a robotics & drones program at Morenci High School. Where students will learn the intricacies of coding from a hands-on point of reference. Students will understand coding. When students code, they take complex problems and break them down into smaller parts. Students will learn what it’s like to approach a problem the way a software engineer does; with logical, computational thinking. This logical thinking is a powerful tool in school, work, and life.
The remaining $6,000 is to educate young students on the effects of drug use. Students will be shown the negative consequences of drugs on the mind, body and future.
